The Synodontis angelicus X Eupterus hybrid is rare as it is not found in the wild, but is a man made hybrid of the Synodontis angelicus and the Synodontis eupterus.
What makes it so distinct is the ambiguously stunning pattern of a dark chocolate body, with a contrasting creamy white mottled overlay. It will grow up to no more than 7 inches in length and can be kept in a community aquarium with other non aggressive fish species.
It is a nocturnal bottom feeder, with the same characteristic traits as its parent species.
Water Conditions:
pH 6.0 - 8.6
8 - 20 KH
72-82 F
Breeding: Captive Bred. We are one of very few breeders of this hybrid.

My fish arrived as scheduled and although much paler then the photo, were very active and healthy looking. I made sure my water parameters matched the shipping water and acclimated them slowly. They must be happy as they have darkened up, are eating, and just adorable. This is my first online fish order--a bit pricey, I thought--but well worth it to receive such healthy, happy fish.
The delivery was very smooth and the shipping was fast. The fish was alive and healthy and was a perfect addition to my tank.
