Red Dovii

The Red Dovii (Parachromis dovii) is a rare and stunning color variant of the standard Blue Dovii, also known as the Wolf Cichlid, Rainbow Bass, or Guapote. Where the Blue Dovii displays electric blue coloration, the Red Dovii exhibits a warm reddish-orange hue that intensifies with age and proper diet — making it one of the most visually striking predator cichlids available.

Like all Dovii, the Red is a large, powerful, and highly intelligent fish. They are best kept alone or as a bonded pair in a very large aquarium with robust filtration. Expect a bold, interactive personality — these fish recognize their keepers and are known for their feisty temperament.
