Deepwater Creek rainbowfish (Melanotaenia Splendida Splendida) are a peaceful species known for their shimmering blue-green bodies and bright orange fins. They do best in groups and show their brightest colors when kept in schools. These fish are active swimmers with a calm temperament, making them great for community tanks. They reach about 3–4 inches in length and are omnivores, happily eating high-quality flakes, pellets, and live or frozen foods like brine shrimp or daphnia. With the right care, they add vibrant movement and beauty to any planted aquarium.
