As their name implies, Chocolate Cichlids (Hypselecara temporalis) are largely a chocolate brown in color; however, they are also known as the Chameleon Cichlid as they are capable of quickly changing their colors and patterns into shades of green, tan, black, and red.
They're a largely peaceful fish and will typically not bother any non-cichlid tank mate that cannot fit into their mouth. Make sure you have a large aquarium, 75+ gallons, with some nice places for them to hide. They can grow up to 12" in size.

The price was fair and shipping was what attracted me to place my order. The fish arrived next day, which was great, but the quality of specimen was low. The pectoral fins were frayed and one was clamped to the side. The fish has not eaten since I received him which has been 3 days now.
As far as the delivery and purchase of the fish goes has been excellent.
Now the quality of the fish is still up in the air, this one seems incredibly skittish and hides, and doesn’t come out at all. I think possibly over time I’ll get to see the fish and be able to to see the quality of the fish I purchased.
On the fourth day I did see the fish finally grab a some food and go right back into hiding.
It’s in a quarantine tank for the moment, so time will tell. Eventually
