As their name implies, Chocolate Cichlids (Hypselecara temporalis) are largely a chocolate brown in color; however, they are also known as the Chameleon Cichlid as they are capable of quickly changing their colors and patterns into shades of green, tan, black, and red.
They're a largely peaceful fish and will typically not bother any non-cichlid tank mate that cannot fit into their mouth. Make sure you have a large aquarium, 75+ gallons, with some nice places for them to hide. They can grow up to 12" in size.
