Boesemani Rainbowfish (Melanotaenia Boesemani) are vibrant, peaceful freshwater fish known for their contrasting coloration on the front a back half of their bodies—males display a vivid blend of blue and orange while females tend to have a more yellowish green color. Native to lakes in West Papua, Indonesia, they thrive in groups and do best in well-maintained aquariums with plenty of swimming space. They’re hardy, active, and make excellent community fish. Adult size is around 4 inches.
