Angelfish (Pterophyllum scalare) are possibly the most recognized fish in the hobby. Angelfish have been mesmerizing aquarist with their unique beauty since they were first introduced into the hoppy in 1909. At first they were considered delicate but, in fact, most Angelfish are hardy and easy to keep.
Being a cichlid, Angelfish can be aggressive during breeding and courtship; although, not nearly as aggressive as most cichlids. Otherwise, they tend to be easy-going cichlids and do well in most any community tank. Keeping them in small schools will allow them to spar and display. They are also grazers, so a well planted tank, with some hardscape, will allow them to spend their days happily browsing for morsels of food. They can tolerate a wide range of water parameters and are peaceful enough to be kept with most tetras and other peaceful cichlids.

all four bags had been punctured. insulation in box was wet and obviously compacted. all four fish were in approximately 1/4 inch of water and bags were deflated . all four fish had white lips(not mouth fungus) probably damaged by striking bag walls. two fish were doa the other two could not swim when i attempted to acclimate them
